Señaló que la política debe pasar de las prácticas tradicionales de promesas sin sentido a establecer responsabilidades mutuas entre la ciudadanía y los servidores públicos. «Por eso agradezco esta oportunidad de entablar un diálogo”.
Evangelina Bañuelos se comprometió a una campaña sin controversia: “por encima de diferencias ideológicas, tenemos muchos problemas que necesitan atención inmediata y urgente”.
«Quiero compartir los principales datos de mi vida, una vida como la de muchos colimenses, llena de esfuerzos y dedicación al estudio, al trabajo y a la familia. Estos valores son los que deseo transmitir a todas las personas que me vean y escuchen».
En los diálogos ciudadanos que sostuvo en el municipio de Comala, mencionó que nació en el seno de una familia numerosa en el campo. “O sea, en la pobreza y marginación. Y aun así tuve una infancia feliz. Siempre quise superarme”.
“Emigramos al terminar la primaria y mi padre me pudo apoyar el primer año de la secundaria. Los siguientes años vendía mis libros usados y compraba otros”.
“Desde los doce años empecé a trabajar medio turno en la tienda de mi padre. Al terminar la secundaria perdí mi segundo año escolar hasta que pude conseguir trabajo en una maquiladora, donde las jornadas son muy pesadas. Y decidí estudiar una carrera que no tuviera que trabajar con una empresa así”.
“Continué trabajando y estudiando, pero a mitad de la carrera decidí dejar para siempre las maquiladoras y entré en una constructora que construía hospitales del Seguro Social”.
“Al casarme y ser madre emigré con mi familia a esta ciudad de Colima, hace 39 años. Estoy casada con Jesús Antonio Montero Galindo. Procreamos tres hijos: Oscar, Adrián y Jorge. Todos somos ingenieros con maestría y Jorge con doctorado. Ya tenemos la dicha de la primera nieta. Se llama Rebeca”.
“Fui miembro como única mujer durante varios años del Colegio de Ingenieros. Y de ahí formé el primer Colegio de Ingenieras y Arquitectas”.
“Me gusta participar en ceremonias de la mexicanidad, consciente de mis raíces ancestrales. Estas ceremonias se llevan a cabo de igual manera desde hace cientos de años, para honrar los elementos que nos dan la vida: el aire, el fuego, la tierra y el agua. Para guardar el equilibro de los elementos”.
“En esta etapa de mi vida, sueño con hacer muchas cosas en beneficio de este hermoso estado, para que Colima vuelva a ser la entidad tranquila que conocí y de la que estoy enamorada, donde todos podamos vivir en dignidad con oportunidades para su desarrollo profesional y familiar.”
