El Consejo General del Instituto Electoral del Estado de Colima (IEE) resolvió este lunes 28 de junio, durante la Trigésima Sesión Extraordinaria del Proceso Electoral Local 2020-2021; la cancelación de la inscripción del registro de los partidos políticos de la Revolución Democrática (PRD) y Redes Sociales Progresistas (RSP), así como la pérdida de sus derechos y prerrogativas, por no alcanzar la votación mínima requerida en las elecciones del pasado domingo 6 de junio.
En el acuerdo aprobado se argumenta que ambas instituciones políticas obtuvieron menos del 3 por ciento de la votación total emitida en cada una de las elecciones: para la Gubernatura, Diputaciones Locales por el principio de mayoría relativa y Ayuntamientos del actual proceso electoral, lo que derivó en la cancelación de su inscripción del registro ante este organismo electoral local, como lo establece el Código Electoral del Estado de Colima, y la Ley General de Partidos Políticos.
Asimismo, conforme a lo dispuesto en el segundo párrafo del artículo 88 del Código Electoral del Estado, la cancelación de inscripción del PRD y de RSP tendrá efectos exclusivamente sobre los derechos concedidos a los institutos políticos mencionados, aunque conservarán su personalidad jurídica para efectos del cumplimiento de sus obligaciones relativas a la fiscalización del financiamiento público y privado que hayan recibido, así como por la responsabilidad civil que de las mismas se origine. El Órgano Superior de Dirección resolvió además, que dichos institutos políticos conserven su representación y participación partidaria hasta el día en que celebre la sesión con motivo de la asignación de Regidurías por la vía de Representación Proporcional, a desarrollarse a más tardar el miércoles 30 de junio de 2021, a la que deberán ser convocados y en la cual tendrán derecho a participar con voz.
En otro punto del orden del día, este lunes, el Consejo General del IEE aprobó el Acta de la Décima Sexta Sesión Extraordinaria del Proceso Electoral Local 2020-2021, celebrada el 08 de abril de la presente anualidad.
