Manzanillo avanza en la dignificación de las condiciones laborales y las instalaciones de sus policías, así lo aseguró la presidenta municipal Griselda Martínez, luego de acudir a las oficinas de Seguridad Pública Municipal, para inaugurar un nuevo comedor que se construyó con una inversión superior a los 750 mil pesos.
La alcaldesa informó que recientemente concluyeron los trabajos de construcción y remodelación de las instalaciones de la Dirección General de Seguridad Pública, con el objetivo de que las y los compañeros policías, el tiempo que pasen en las instalaciones estén mejor atendidos con la infraestructura adecuada, “ahora tienen un nuevo comedor y aparte se construyeron los baños y regaderas para un mejor servicio de los uniformados”.
De acuerdo con el proyecto, estas renovadas instalaciones cuentan con distintas áreas: cocineta, fregador, almacén, barra y mesas para que las y los integrantes de esta corporación puedan alimentarse en un lugar adecuado; se construyó a base de estructura metálica que son materiales ligeros, incluye su techo e iluminación LED y un piso moderno.
La alcaldesa señaló, “la obra está concluida, el comedor quedó muy bonito, es un espacio digno, donde los policías podrán comer sus alimentos, en la parte de afuera se tendrá un área de jardinería”.
Los felicitó por este nuevo espacio, que alberga baños, vestidores, regaderas “todo esto que se ha construido al interior del edificio de Seguridad Pública, incluyendo la barda perimetral y las cámaras de video vigilancia es para dignificar el trabajo de todas y todos los que aquí trabajan”.
