En el marco del 1er Festival “Manzanillo con Sabor a Sal”, en la comunidad de Nuevo Cuyutlán, “Desde Nuestras Raíces” fue el proyecto arquitectónico ganador del Museo de la Sal, concurso convocado por la empresa Sal Real de Colima, el H. Ayuntamiento de Manzanillo, la Cámara de la Industria de la Transformación y la UdeC a través de su Dirección General de Vinculación.
La presidenta municipal de Manzanillo, Griselda Martínez, agradeció a los arquitectos participantes en este concurso en el que se presentaron 39 excelentes proyectos de los que fueron seleccionados 8 finalistas. Señaló que con la construcción del museo por parte del empresario Juan José Delgado Magaña, dueño de la empresa Sal Real de Colima, la iniciativa impulsará el turismo y la generará empleos en toda la región, haciendo que cada vez más gente se enamore de la zona Sur de Manzanillo y de sus riquezas naturales como la sal que aquí se produce, única en el mundo y orgullosamente manzanillense.
El jurado calificador estuvo integrado por Kevin Tello López, presidente de la Cámara de la Industria de la Transformación; Oscar Javier Solorio, director general de vinculación de la Universidad de Colima; Daniela Muñiz Anguiano, directora de Turismo del Ayuntamiento de Manzanillo; Lenin Cázares Serratos, director del Instituto Municipal de la Cultura; Miguel Ángel Llanos Machuca, vicepresidente de la Cámara de la Industria de la Transformación; el arquitecto Luis Ángel Cernas Escobar, empresario de la construcción del estado de Colima y el licenciado Juan José Delgado Magaña, director general de Sal Real de Colima.
Los jueces calificaron y evaluaron los siguientes criterios el proyecto: concepto integral, justificación de diseño, creatividad, originalidad y concepto de diseño, atractivo y dinámico. Del exterior: fachada y vías de acceso, áreas inclusivas, estacionamiento, puntos de seguridad, entradas y salidas. Interiores: distribución y diseño de espacios, ventilación, iluminación, accesos, salidas, distribución de diseño de recorridos y eco-tecnología.
La selección de los 3 proyectos ganadores fue difícil pues todos los finalistas presentaron trabajos excelentes, sin embargo, los jueces deliberaron que el tercer lugar fuera para el proyecto “Montañas Blancas” del Arq. Isaí Abimael Rivera Rodríguez; el segundo lugar para “Museo de la Sal”, de TADH arquitectos: Alexandra Lizbeth Gutiérrez, María Guadalupe Fuentes y Jorge Francisco Ávalos y el primer lugar para el proyecto arquitectónico “Desde Nuestra Raíces” de los arquitectos: Sergio Armando, Edgar Iván y Héctor Eduardo Cham. Cabe señalar que los ganadores recibieron un estímulo económico de 5 mil pesos, 10 mil y 15 mil pesos, para tercero, segundo y primer lugar, respectivamente.
