La gobernadora Indira Vizcaíno Silva llevó a cabo la reinstalación y toma de protesta al nuevo comité coordinador de la Red Colimense de Municipios por la Salud, iniciando así los trabajos para obtener la recertificación como Municipios Promotores de la Salud y para lograr la reincorporación a la Red Mexicana de este rubro, destacando que en salud el trabajo de la autoridad se complementa con la suma de toda la población, para hacer de la prevención un hábito diario.
La mandataria indicó que con la pandemia de Covid-19 aprendimos a valorar la importancia de la salud y darnos cuenta de todo lo que falta por hacer para tener una adecuada atención de la salud para toda la gente desde las instituciones públicas; hizo un llamado a redoblar esfuerzos para atender esta pandemia, fortalecer la vacunación, y apuntó que el Covid ha llevado a enriquecer la cultura preventiva en salud, por lo que se tiene que reforzar que los colimenses hagan suyas todas las estrategias preventivas.
Por su parte, la secretaria de Salud, Martha Janeth Espinosa Mejía, dijo a las y los presidentes municipales que en los Servicios de Salud tienen personas aliadas para construir los proyectos que en cada municipio realicen por mejorar la salud pública, atendiendo el trabajo preventivo y abordando la salud desde la prevención y no desde la atención de la enfermedad. “Es en los municipios donde se concretan las acciones para que la población disponga de más oportunidades para una vida mejor».
Esther Gutiérrez Andrade, alcaldesa de Villa de Álvarez y nueva presidenta de la Red Colimense de Municipios por la Salud, dijo que el coincidir los diferentes órdenes de gobierno, sectores y población, es una señal indicativa de que hacemos equipo, sumando voluntades y recursos. Aseguró que en sus municipios pondrán su mejor esfuerzo para hacer efectivos los postulados de la carta compromiso que firmaron como presidentes municipales y así garantizar mejores condiciones de vida de la población.
En representación de los Poderes Legislativo y Judicial, acudieron la diputada Myriam Gudiño Espíndola y el magistrado José Alfredo Jiménez Carrillo, acto en el que se firmó la Carta Compromiso por la Salud de Colima, con la que las y los alcaldes de la entidad se comprometen a dar prioridad a la salud de la población. También estuvieron las ganadoras del programa “Gobernadora por un día”, Zoe Anahí Zavala Castillo, Ana Rosa Vargas Hernández y Jaqueline Cabrera González.
