CONGRESO APRUEBA REFORMA PARA GARANTIZAR PARIDAD DE GÉNERO EN EL PODER JUDICIAL

Las diputadas y diputados del H. Congreso del Estado, aprobaron una reforma a la Ley Orgánica del Poder Judicial del Estado de Colima, en aras de armonizar el principio de Paridad de Género en este Poder y otorgar una justicia social a las mujeres colimenses.

El dictamen elaborado por la comisión de Estudios Legislativos y Puntos Constitucionales, mismo que fuera expuesto en tribuna por la diputada Viridiana Valencia adiciona un último párrafo al artículo 4 y reforma los artículos 19, 21, las fracciones V y XXV del arábigo 23, así como las fracciones VI y XVIII del numeral 27, 39, 64, 93, 149 Quinquies, 178, 179, 180, 183, 185, 187 y 239 todos de la Ley Orgánica del Poder Judicial del Estado de Colima, para establecer en cada una de las disposiciones referidas que, en todos los cargos y nombramientos de nuevo personal y titularidades, se observe el principio de paridad de género.

La propuesta presentada inicialmente por Viridiana Valencia y suscrita por la bancada de Morena, así como por las diputadas Myriam Gudiño Espíndola, del Partido Nueva Alianza, Glenda Yazmín Ochoa, del Grupo Parlamentario Movimiento Ciudadano y Evangelina Bustamante Morales, del Partido del Trabajo, garantiza que se cumplan los preceptos de la Constitución del Estado Libre y Soberano de Colima, en donde se establece que “la paridad de género como un principio fundamental en el Estado de Colima, que garantizará la igualdad sustantiva entre mujeres y hombres en el ejercicio del poder público”.

La reforma fue aprobada por unanimidad, misma que entrará en vigor al día siguiente de su publicación en el Periódico Oficial “El Estado de Colima”.

El Pleno del Supremo Tribunal de Justicia contará con un plazo de 180 días naturales para reformar los reglamentos del Poder Judicial y armonizar el principio constitucional de paridad instituido en la presente Ley.
