La gobernadora de Colima, Indira Vizcaíno Silva, reabrió el gimnasio de la Unidad de Servicios Infantiles (USI), ubicado en esta capital, donde dijo que el deporte enseña valores como la responsabilidad y trabajo en equipo, y que es por ello que se invirtió en este inmueble, para que niños, niñas y adolescentes puedan seguirse preparando.

«Cuentan con un gran equipo de personas que les quieren, les apoyan para que ustedes sigan avanzando en sus sueños. Ese equipo son sus mamás y sus papás, entrenadores, maestras y maestros» expresó la mandataria estatal.

Vizcaíno Silva invitó a las y los deportistas infantiles y juveniles a nunca doblegarse, ya que los deportes les dan muchas ventajas en su persona; «ustedes van a ser niños y niñas más sanos, emocionalmente más felices; también refuerzan la solidaridad, es decir, ayudarse entre unos y otras» expresó la titular del Poder Ejecutivo estatal.

Por su parte la directora del DIF Estatal Colima, Rosa María Bayardo Cabrera, se dijo contenta por la reapertura de este espacio, pues consideró que así se abona a que las infancias tengan un espacio más donde desarrollarse sanamente. Acompañaron a la mandataria, la delegada de Programas para el Bienestar del Gobierno de México, Viridiana Valencia Vargas; así como funcionarios estatales de diversas dependencias.
