+ Personal de CIAPACOV realizó una nueva línea de llenado de 4 pulgadas a la cisterna que abastece a ambas colonias de Colima.
Este martes 21 de febrero, los fontaneros de catastro y distribución, pertenecientes a la Dirección de Redes de Agua de la Comisión Intermunicipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de los Municipios de Colima y Villa de Álvarez (CIAPACOV), concluyeron las adecuaciones realizadas a la línea de alimentación de agua potable en la cisterna de Valle Dorado con lo que se mejorará el suministro del líquido tanto en dicha colonia, como en Loredo Residencial, pertenecientes al municipio de Colima.
Fue a raíz de los constantes reportes de baja presión de agua en la zona que Vladimir Parra, Director General de CIAPACOV, realizó una charla con las y los vecinos de Loredo Residencial, con el fin de encontrar soluciones a esta problemática que ya es añeja y que se originó por la falta de planeación y el descuido de administraciones anteriores que tomaron la decisión de que Valle Dorado y Loredo Residencial se anexaran a la red municipal. Así mismo brindaron factibilidades sin que hubiera las condiciones necesarias para abastecer a dichas colonias, a tal grado, que éstas sólo se abastecen de una cisterna compartida con dimensión de 3 x 3 m.
Es debido al pequeño tamaño de la cisterna, que el equipo de bombeo puede presentar fallos y apagarse constantemente, por lo que el Director de CIAPACOV, instruyó al personal a su cargo para crear una nueva línea de llenado de 4 pulgadas, sumada a la ya existente de 6 pulgadas, con el fin de que la cisterna no se vacíe tan rápido.
Para realizar las adecuaciones correspondientes fue necesaria la instalación de una válvula de compuerta de vástago fijo manual de 4”, la reducción campana de 6” a 4” para la instalación de la válvula de compuerta de vástago fijo, una Tee bridada de 6” y 2 codos bridados de 6”.
Vladimir Parra señaló que a pesar de ser un problema heredado, se está dando solución a esta atendiendo esta problemática con esta clase de acciones. Así mismo, se realiza una inversión cercana a los $106,000 pesos, en una válvula de control alto y bajo nivel con flotador vertical marca Bermad de 6 pulgadas y un macromedidor, los cuales se espera que lleguen la próxima semana. Además se plantea la creación de un proyecto para instalar una nueva cisterna a largo plazo. Con ello se busca dar soluciones que permitan garantizar el derecho humano al agua para las y los vecinos de ambas colonias.
CIAPACOV hace un atento llamado a las y los vecinos de Valle Dorado y Loredo Residencial para que se priorice el uso doméstico del agua que se les abastece, por sobre el uso de riego en áreas verdes, con el fin de cuidar, racionar y no desperdiciar el líquido.
