Derivado del análisis de la situación epidemiológica del dengue en el estado de Colima, en las reuniones de trabajo de la Red Colimense de Municipios por la Salud se ha acordado una estrecha colaboración para promover la participación de la población con las acciones puntuales de la Secretaría de Salud para el control larvario, que permitan prevenir o evitar casos de dengue entre la población.
Los Servicios de Salud informan de manera semanal a cada uno de los ayuntamientos de la entidad, las zonas en las que estará personal de Vectores realizan acciones de control larvario, cuyo propósito es difundir a las y los presidentes de colonias populares y/o barrios, dichas áreas geográficas, las fechas en que el personal de Vectores estará trabajando.
Esto, con el objetivo de generar un clima de confianza para que puedan realizar su tarea de manera eficiente; de igual forma, se solicita que personal de Seguridad Pública Municipal lleve a cabo rondines que permitan salvaguardar la integridad de quienes participan en esta actividad y por supuesto de la propia población colimense en cada uno de los municipios.
Con el propósito de reforzar las acciones de combate al dengue y proteger la salud de las y los habitantes, se informa que, del martes 16 al viernes 19 de abril, personal de Vectores trabaja en el área de la colonia El Campanario, en el municipio de Armería, en acciones de control larvario.
Para que la población identifique al personal de Vectores es importante que recuerde que porta uniforme institucional (camisa y pantalón de mezclilla con logotipos de la Secretaría de Salud, gafete de identificación, chaleco beige y calzado bota negra).
